The Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo Regional Conservation Area is a protected natural sanctuary renowned for its remarkable biodiversity, particularly its high concentration of primate species. This vast area, covering approximately 420,000 hectares, is home to 16 species of primates, including the rare Red Uakari and the Pygmy Marmoset, the world’s smallest monkey.
