Born in the peaceful village of Padrecocha, nestled on the banks of the Nanay River, a tributary of the Amazon, I grew up surrounded by the beauty and wisdom of the rainforest.
Padrecocha, with its century-old history, was first settled by the Kukama people, who came in search of a better future for their children. Over time, our village has become a melting pot of cultures, enriched by the arrival of Bora, Yagua, Shuar, and other indigenous groups, especially after the devastating rubber boom. As proud descendants of these resilient people, we are committed to preserving and sharing the legacy of our ancestors with compassionate visitors from around the world.
